Sticker Slap Swag Bop Bear

I was bored so I decided do another Bear. I used one of my drawings of myself bopping along the street and a drawing I did of a bear and whacked them together on photoshop and illustrator. I quite like the image and I plan to do a screen print of it, 6 layers. its going to be quite a challenge since I have never done a print with 6 layers before. Hopefully it will be okay.

I've been putting up night ways stickers around my neighbourhood and I got a flick of one of them on the way home the other day. I thought that this character would go well with it because he looks like he's looking back on just putting a sticker up and feeling the rush of doing something he shouldn't. To get the photo to look as it does I ran it though photo shop and illustrator.

Nightways Bear Meditation

  

Once again I was really bored so I started making another bear. This one is a meditation bear and I call it Bare Meditation. Bear it spelt like Bare because in UK slang Bare means a lot even though the draws are bare it means they are empty.. I don't know how it started! Anyway! I got the idea from meditating of coarse and I had drawn myself doing it as you can see on the top left. I then edited it up with a bear head on photoshop and illustrator and played around with the colours. I plan to screen print the design and make an edition of these. It will be a nice 3 layer piece. I will upload in the future!

Nightways Girl Bear Tagger

This is the Nightway Co girl bear tagger. I drew the girl and the bear face separate and combined them on photo shop then edited them up to scratch with the night ways logo till they looked like this. I drew the girl from a photo on tumblr. I don't know who owns it but I doubt they mind because its all over the internet. However I am thinking about taking my own photos of a sexy girl in the future for my drawings.

Once again I found my self bored so I decided to make a design for my society 6 account. I think its quite a dope design so I posted it on here why not. The drawing was originally done in pencil then scanned and edited in photoshop and illustrator.

Smoking Bear

I drew the jumper, hand and smoking roll up from looking at a photo of my self. The abstract cartoon smoke was a random one. Then I took another drawing of a bear I did and added it in, all edited in photo shop and illustrator. This is the first Bear I ever did on a human form.

I found a legal wall close to where I live so thought I'd throw up a bear piece, it is the first one I've ever done at this scale and it was kinda a nice day to have a random idea impulse.Here is the drawing I did the piece from.

I used 94 MTN Low pressure spay paint.  People asked me if I had used stencils, my reply is no. I just did cut backs with the other colours. not to surprising really because its not perfect. I would definitely like to go and do another bear piece at this scale again soon. I'll keep you posted!

1st Bear Wheat Paste

I used a projector to enlarge the drawing so I could trace the bear head on poster paper

Wheat paste is simple and easy, just whack it up like wall paper. This is the first and only wheat paste I have ever done. It was great and I'd like to do some more. I'll keep you posted!
